YAY! Congrats!!!

YAY!  I feel like I missed so much this weekend!  Congrats!  PICS AND STORY NEEDED :)

Ok! I'm officially posting my engagement story and photos here on the waiting board first! I want to thank everyone sooooo much for be soooo supportive over the past month. I have truly found a new home here. I can't wait to continue with the OFFICIAL planning! I'm sorry it has taken so long for me to get this story up.....

Ok so I call my FI's (so weird!!!) twin sister last week and tell her how I am going crazy and I can't stand this waiting period! I was telling her that I feel like I just wait all week for the weekend to come and it is driving me insane! So.... she suggests that we plan something for the upcoming weekend so that I feel like i KNOW what is going on! We hang out with her and her husband often so I didn't think anything of it. She said we should do something touristy in the city and I agreed. She suggested that we go to the art museum and I thought to myself.... "You guys NEVER want to go to the art museum with me but ok......" The art museum just happens to be my favorite place in the city!! 

So the day comes and I wear my little black bubble dress and red hat and scarf. We go through the art museum and the hold time, my friend and her husband keep disappearing!! So I'm waiting and waiting and we even go to my favorite exhibit where he takes a picture of me looking at it and I'm SURE that when I turn around, he'll be on one knee. It doesn't quite happen that way and we end up leaving the museum and going out to the front where you have the most amazing view of the city. I turn around again expecting him to be on his knee and he is just looking at me. "So where do you wanna get dinner?" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So by this point I am completely frustrated and figure that I am making this out to be what it is not. We all go around the back of the museum to walk down to where we parked and I head towards the waterworks on the water where I always stop on my way out. I have always dreamed of getting married on the water under the art museum but it is REDICULOUSLY expensive so I just visit from time to time. On the way down the hill, my buckle on my purse falls off and starts tumbling down the hill! I chase the buckle down and start flipping out about how I just got the bag and it was expensive and I can't believe it broke and going on and on and on not realizing that we are on our way to the water. We get all the way down to the water and I am STILL complaining about my bag when he says "FORGET ABOUT THE BAG ALREADY! I have to do something!" And I look at him as he goes to his knee and asks if I will marry him!!! I of course start screaming and jumping and jumping!!! He explained that he wanted to use that spot for something special if we couldn't use it for the wedding and that the plan was for his sister to get me to the art museum the whole time. It just happened to work out that I called her first! My mom and sister happened to be in town so the six of us all got to go out to dinner! It was perfect! My favorite spot in the city and I was totally oblivious because of my stupid bag!!

Thanks!!! @sealion-- That is strange because I definitely got the name "halo" from the jeweler. That is a pretty common name and is usually what they call it so they should know. I definitely recommend it!
