You’re not actually supposed to wear a rosary…  But there are some choices on Blue Nile, http://www.bluenile.com/crosses/.  I think it would look really beautiful and elegant if you just went with a plain cross necklace, nothing too busy or trendy.  They have a really gorgeous option in platinum on there that is $260; also the same necklace in white gold is only $45.

P.S.  I also like the pearl cross, but I don’t know if that’s too trendy for your look.

From what I’ve been told, it’s acceptable to wear a rosary if your intent is to be reverent, but not ok to wear one just for fashion’s sake.  If you wear it as an expression of faith and a symbol of religion, you’re in the clear.  For instance, in the Hispanic culture, people often wear roasary beads to remind them of God’s constant presence.

Good luck finding something that you love.  If you find yourself at a loss, maybe check around with family – it could be your"something borrowed"

Interesting, Miss Meepsie…  I was always told you shouldn’t wear it, but I just googled the question and found there is a lot of support for wearing it like you described.  Learn something new every day!

@ Mrs Spring – LOL, the only reason I know is because two of my very good friends are Catholic school teachers & they had this debate with each other not too long ago.  😉

I was also raised with the idea that you aren’t supposed to wear rosaries at all. If you want simple, I would suggest just a small, plain gold cross. I think that’s really elegant!
