Hi guys!

I know I wasn't on the wiating list long, which I am very thankful for as it is sometimes quite a stressful place to be! I thought I'd share a little about the big day...

It happened on new years eve. SO had to work until noon and then we were going to my parents house, following by his extended family christmas party. He came home at noon and I guess I let my disappointment show a little (I didn't think it would happen)...and then, just before we left, he took me aside in the living room and told me that he didn't plan for it to happen this way, that he was going to wait until new years but didn't want me to have to wait another day and couldn't stand the thought of me being disappointed. Told me many many sweet things about how he knew I was 100% right for him and that we'd never be apart, took one knee and asked. I cried and cried and we hugged and hugged. He was worried it wasn't perfect enough, and that it wasn't how he planned. But I think it was absolutely perfect. It came from his heart and was genuine, it was very "us." Here is the ring--it's a black diamond-round brilliant, with white diamond cushion-shaped halo, and white diamond split shank sides. I love it!
