we took a disney cruise - they're spendy but i love them (have been on 4).
my cousin used to work for royal caribbean and said those are pretty nice - carnival cruises are cheapest though...so it depends on what you're looking for!!
NCL!! I have been on many cruises and have liked this one the best! The freestyle dining is a great idea!
I like the rock walls on Royal Caribbean.
I've been on 2 Caribbean cruises and by far, my favorite port was Grand Cayman.
Not so fond of Jamaica.
i think royal caribbean is the nicest...ive been on norwegian 2xs (the same old ship...the newer ones are really nice though) and carnival-no complaints on any of them though!
I cruised on Carnival Destiny for a 7 night caribbean cruise visiting a different island every day - it was AMAZING!! We saw St. Lucia, St. Kitts, St Thomas, Antigua, Barbados and Dominica, leaving from San Juan Puerto Rico. It was a very busy itinerary but we woke up in a different paradise everyday. Carnival is fun because it's a "young" line, so lots of party type activities and shows. Let me know if you have any questions, i love cruising and you save sooo much money by the food being included.
than you so much for all the input i think we have decided on royal carribbean the carnical cruises sound fun but we aren't big partiers...i think this will be the bost of best worlds
I think you made a good decision. Which ports are you stopping in? I really liked Grand Caymen as well!
if you want to stay away from cruises with lots of kids, go with Holland America. My parents have been on 2 of their cruises (Carr. and Medit.) and they loved both! It is totally worth the extra money. You just can't get better than them.
I have never been on a cruise so I can't say much, but a friend of mine has gone on 2 Disney cruises and loved them.
I did Princess and it was nice and more adult-y. Food was very good. I loved Grand Cayman. I would do a Southern caribbean cruise if possible.
