@Pupperoni:  I’m going on a cruise soon, and I booked through a travel agent.  I also noticed that the prices looked higher through her than on the cruise website, but it was because she included all the taxes and port fees in the price she gave me.  So it might be best to double check what is included in each price.

@Pupperoni:  I totally agree with craftykeg.  I was a travel agent for years, and I often compared what the package I was offering included to what was online, and more often then not what seemed like a good deal wasn’t.  Check it out thoroughly.  Make sure you are aware of exactly what the cancellation/change policies are, realize that if you book online and something happens you won’t have someone to go to bat for you.
