I know it is poor etiquette to bring a gift to the wedding, I don’t plan on that. But what about a card with money in it. I was thinking about mailing it out a week before so the couple has it to use for something fun before, or on the ship. My FI doesn’t think we should do that he want to bring the card with us. HELP I have looked everywhere for the answer to this.

I think you could do either, but if you bring it with you, make sure you give cash, not a check, or else they won’t be able to use it.

i think you could bring it along. There is nothing wrong with that. Then again, maybe you should mail it cause you cant use cash on a cruise. You have an on board card.

I would go with mailing it!

Mailing! That way it doesn’t get lost. I figure, with a week-long vacation built into the wedding, the odds of things getting misplaced increases exponentially. And the bride and groom will probably appreciate your forethought (because you know there will be some people bringing their gifts on board).
