My friend just had a cruise wedding and another couple is planning one for the weekend after mine. The first bride/groom had fun but not everyone they wanted was able to come whether it was health risks, afraid of cruising itself or the money. And they did feel like they never had a honeymoon because although the ship is big, people will constantly want to set up activities with you. Very little alone time unless you're hiding in your room! And the second couple is finding out that the people they want also can't come. Because its in the high season so friends have already planned going to other weddings or events and the money, again. Just things to consider. Hope I didn't deter you from choosing a cruise!

My fiance and I are planning a small wedding with just close family. We both agree we love the cruise idea but we're not so sure about everyone being there with us..... Would it feel like you took the whole family on your honeymoon? We've been on cruises before and know how big they are and how hard it is to run into someone, but looking back are there any brides who have done this before? Please give me some advice and your opinion on the topic??
