I like the idea of having a fuller veil with that dress. BTW, the dress is gorgeous!
I really like that veil with it. I think it seems puffy enough already. Love your dress BTW.
your dress is so pretty!!! i personally would go for a simple, 1 layer veil with that dress.
It's a beautiful dress! I'd go with a simpler veil, with a cut edge and all one length, not tapered like the one in the photo. The simplicity would really set off that dress.
I think the veil in the picture looks great with that dress! It's full enough that it doesn't look like an afterthought or something.
I think it goes really nicely... are you having an indoor church ceremony? If you're having an outdoor ceremony, perhaps a shorter veil with the same edging would work better? I really love your dress btw... who is the designer??
Thanks! The dress is Priscilla of Boston 4216. It won't be a church ceremony. The wedding is going to be in Istanbul, Turkey and I attached the pictures of the venue. I am still debating whether I should get a long or short veil but I will probably go with a shorter veil than the one I tried on.
WOW... that venue is awesome. Is all that green from the lighting, or is that part of the venue's colors? Either way I love it. :)
that green color is from the lighting. i still have to pick the colors, and the decorations but this looks pretty. here is one more picture- this is the cocktail area.
wow, the venue is amazing! and I think that the veil looks great!
I love your dress, and I think it would look great with a fuller veil. Maybe two tiers?
cool, another Turkish bride! Beautiful venue :) Our wedding will be in Izmir, so not too far away ... I would suggest trying a shorter veil that is still long - like the type that doesn't drag on the floor but ends mid-leg - that is less waterfall-y around the top; it could be too busy with the layering effect and take away from the crumbcatcher and sash detail, you know? I say that because I spent like an hour picking out a veil for my dress (which has similar details to yours - layers on the bodice and a broach on the sash) and that was style that I liked the best.
here's a link that shows what I am trying to say better than I can say it:

The veil you have on in the picture looks great too, and the dress is beautiful so I am sure everything will turn out great! GL!
I think that is what I was hesitant about. The edging and the layering of the veil kind of took away from the top part of my dress. The veil you attached is very beautiful btw. I will consider more simpler styles like this one. So your wedding will be in Izmir? It is a very beautiful city. I am sure it will be a lovely wedding.
@so2203: I just checked out Style Me Pretty and they have a picture of a bride in a crumbcatcher dress! Her veil is fuller but without the layers, I think it looks really pretty:

Good Luck!
I love the dress but don't like the ribbon on the veil. Fuller would be fine...I love me a puffy veil :) but i think the ribbon edge takes away from the BEAUTIFUL dress
oh wow! I love that dress and veil. SO beautiful.
Beautiful dress, Beautiful veil and Beautiful venue! :) Nothing else to say!
I like a veil without the ribbon around it, it takes the wow factor from the dress, I can't find the word haha it makes it heavy ....lol i don't know, I think It would look much better with the veil that Peanutlovespumkin suggested with the picture ;)
I agree with everyone, I like a cut edge best because it doesn't draw the eye right to the edge of the veil so much.
I think you could go a little poufy-er if you want, but I thought the one in the pic looked great.
i agree with the other posters who recommended a cut edge veil instead of ribbon. that dress is so gorgeous by the way!!!! :)
Wow, that is a gorgeous dress and a gorgeous venue! I like the veil you had on in the picture.
thanks:-) That was actually the last dress I tried on. I was about to give up my search and settle for one of the gowns that I liked previously but when I tried this on, I fell in love with it:)

Hi,
I am trying to find a veil that goes with my wedding dress. The attached is the veil that I tried on at the time I ordered my dress but I was hesitant to get it. I am not sure if the ribbon edges of the veil go with my gown. Also, do you think a more puffy veil would go better with this dress?
Thanks everyone!
