Crunch time…Starting Insanity on Monday

I completed the first month a couple of times but have never been able to get past the first week of the second month. However, after just the first month I was noticeably more toned and felt great! I actually just started again last Friday because work finally slowed down so I’m hoping to make it all the way through this time!

The fit test that is included is great because it helped me see a measurable result of my hard work.

HC_IC721:  I’ve done Insanity before, and it really is insane. I noticed results after the first week. I didn’t stick with it long (3 weeks) because omg it is crazy, but it is a great way to get in shape fast. Good luck! I’m sweating just thinking about it!

Insanity is just that. Ihave tried a few times but i suck at sticking to it.

I do better with shorter programs, like T25, and right now I’m doing PiYo.

If you stick to it, you’ll certainly get results (and quickly). I’d suggest getting a coach, adding them on facebook and chatting often, or joining a challenge group so they can help motivate you and keep you accountible!

I found for me, I have been doing great with a meal plan when i actually printed a daily meal plan out, filled it out the day before, and STUCK TO IT.

I haven’t done insanity, but from now until Nov is plenty of time to see results!  I just started working out (running the Apr-mid Jun, then switched to weights and elliptical due to a leg injury) and I’m definitely seeing results.. and I’m sure my workouts are not as intense as insanity.  Good luck!

Insanity is hardcore!!!! I started it a few months ago but I stopped because I got really busy schedules over the last month, which sucks because even though it’s the hardest thing I have ever done in exercise, I still freaking loved it. It really did help me shed some pounds and tone up areas I never knew existed. I’m planning on getting back on it sometime this week because it’s crunch time for me too! 38 days!! I wanna be able to lose at LEAST 5 pounds before the wedding and I know if I keep up with insanity, it’s very doable!! One of my bridesmaids is doing it too and omg, she is looking incredible. If she can do, I can do it LOL. Warning though, it is very intense. Take lots of breaks (a lot of the times, you don’t think you do but trust me … take one when you start to get dizzy), drink TONS AND TONS of water. If you can’t do their moves the way they do it, modify them because at least you are doing something even though it’s not at the same level as theirs and then when you get stronger then you can start doing what they are doing. Don’t feel bad if you can’t finish a session because trust me, you’ve done a lot even though you didn’t finish. This is what my bridesmaid taught me and wow … I’m so glad she did because the first time I tried it, I thought I was going to pass out. I don’t think I fully finished every video in the first week and a half. Then I got better and now I can finish the videos, lots of breaks but I can say that I survived the entire session!!!! HC_IC721:  My friend did insanity and I was BLOWN AWAY with her results. She completed the program you can see a huge difference in her. I promise you if you keep up with it, you will see what your looking for.  However, I’m sure you know this, but you can’t eat horrible while on the program.  1) you’ll feel sick or sluggish all the time 2) you have to eat to fuel your body for the intense workouts. I would get with someone or do the equations yourself (do not use MFP or Loseit or any other weightloss app to do this!) and find out how much you should be REALLY eating.  I can help you with that as well if you need it, just message me.  But, you definately don’t want to send your body into starvation mode for quicker results. It’s not worth trying to get your metabolism back in order to lose weight a little quicker.

I started this awhile ago, but only did the first 3 weeks. I didn’t really see much results, but I don’t think I did it long enough. I’m re-starting it today! I need some motivation too, so this is great!

I did Insanity for about 3 months! However I started to notice I was getting a little too “muscley” and was losing my boobs and I didn’t want that. So now I sort of mix Insanity with a regular gym workout. Love the results! Good luck! And don’t get discouraged if you need to take many breaks the first couple of times you do it.

HC_IC721:  Are you following their nutrition guide too? I ate sooo bad today so I printed out the nutrition thing and am starting the meal plan tomorrow!

HC_IC721:  Totally did it and it felt amazing and I noticed results after the first week. I kept up with his calendar and my body is just now losing the look (I quit a year ago). It’s nice because you get an off day built in. 🙂

HC_IC721:  I’ve done the Insanity program twice through and have now moved onto Insanity Aslyum. Yes it is INSANE, but damn, it works! I didn’t have much weight to lose as I wasn’t overweight, just out of shape. I still lost about 10 lbs and, more importantly, I went down 2 dress sizes. I feel amazing and it was totally worth it. I will say I have much better results when I follow the meal plan (easier said than done haha!). Good luck and stick with it! You can do it!
