Ever since my FH proposed on Friday night, I have cried every single day for a LONG time. I have been waking up every morning with puffy eyes from crying that’s how much crying I’ve done!
Just thinking about getting engaged and married and what it means; the home, the babies, the grandkids EVERYTHING makes me SO happy and amazed that I cry.
I always assumed I would be an OLD bee! My family always talks about how difficult I am and how no one would want someone so ornery. Then here comes FH into my life and he loves all my faults nearly unconditionally and it makes me feel so blessed that I have been given someone so wonderful and thinking about all that makes me cry!
I am afraid that if I keep crying like a big baby my FH with get annoyed and want to take back the ring (which he wouldn’t but I still fear it), am I a total nutcase for all the crying??? NOTHING IS WRONG!!!!
Does ANYONE else have this problem??

Aren’t these happy tears??? If you were crying because you weren’t ready to get married, then there would be a problem… but you are not crazy for being happy! And congratulations 😀

It’s wonderful you feel that way. Hopefully the crying will pass and you will just start to glow 🙂

Tear of happiness! Althou gh you are feeling super forunate(which I love btw!) you may need to pull it together as to not freak him out. Seriously, there will be many emotional times in your marriage when coping and “holding it together” will be necessary and expected of you by your husband. Just experience the emotion, smile and relish it in it, but straighten up and don’t let your emotions become a sobbing mess. practice! So happy for you!

Congratulations! I think it’s so adorable and sweet that you’re so emotional in a happy way. No I do not think you are a nutcase. You’re just caught up in all of it. I do agree that you need to reign it in at least a little. When it gets to be overwhelming, do some deep breathing to power through it. Congratulations!

Do not let anyone else’s opinion jade your grateful and precious emotions. Congrats!
