would he even notice if you switched the shirt on your own? and even if he did you could always be sneaky and be like "i just got the wrong one
" i think that him wearing your gift the day of is most important in this situation. hope it all works out
I wanted to get my husband cufflinks but we could not find a french cuff shirt in the color we wanted. So we got a normal dress shirt and I gave him the cufflinks as a gift. He has another dress shirt that is french cuff so he can use them. If you want him to wear the cufflinks for a couple close up wedding pictures, he can put them through the button holes.
You might consider also giving him a french cuffed shirt he can wear after the wedding with the cufflinks (but really I like @Koala Bear suggestion to switch the shirts).

So yeah, I was planning on gifting my fiance some cute cufflinks that I already ordered. . .And now I've realized that he needs a special shirt (the so called French cuff shirt) to wear them. . .Worst part is that we already bought his shirt this past weekend (a normal shirt with buttons) and our wedding is in TWO WEEKS!!!
I don't want to spoil the surprise, but I really want him to wear the cufflinks. . .What is this bride to do?
