i didn't get my wedding cake there but i did get a cake for a party and it was really nice.
Not my favorite, I don't like the icing, something tastes weird to me.
@suttonista: I actually just found a review calling the icy "oily." Yikes!
Mehbee, do you think the cake looked better than it tasted? Or was it pretty good all around? The cakes are beautiful, but the flavor seems to get inconsistent grades...
I had a cake made for my boyfriend's 30th last year...it tasted delicious and looked gorgeous. I would be careful though with it sitting out for long periods of time because the icing can get pretty slick looking...might even melt in the outdoors as there is a lot of butter.

Has anyone had experience with Cupcake Cafe for a wedding cake (either ordering, or tasting and seeing one in person!)? We are not getting cupcakes, but an actual tiered cake. I love the decorations on the tiered cakes on their website, but wonder if the wedding cakes come out as nice in person. Sometimes the cupcake decorating in the store seems a little hit or miss depending on the day...
Any advice would be appreciated!
