These are the flavors we are having! I am wondering how to break it up, so I wanted to see all of your preferences!

ps- I've tried them all... and oh yes, they're goodLaughing

Red velvet's my absolute favorite, but then I saw maple bacon and I couldn't pass up the opportunity!

Love red velvet. I've never heard of bacon cupcakes, so if I had the opportunity, I might choose to try it.

I voted for pistachio, but I would be interested to try the bacon one.  It sounds very "Top Chef". :)

I figure we'll do more cupcakes than people so people can go back and try a maple bacon or cookie dough (the "weird"est ones).

SEriously the maple bacon is so good I already posted about it on Weddingbee in SHOCK at the wonderfulness! I also posted pics and descriptions here in my blog.

Red velvet gets my vote. I like the idea of maple bacon cupcakes, but I can't help but think they'd taste more like an appetizer and less like a dessert.

Hmmmm. I love red velvet, but I'd probably use the opportunity to try the crazy maple bacon cupcakes. I wouldn't go for the other ones--too chocolately for me. Red velvet is so mild and i love cream cheese frosting. But I'd totally try the bacon thing! It sounds so intriguing. Could i have a glass of milk please though? =]

Out of those I'd pick Red Velvet - YUM!  I prefer lemon cake the MOST though.

I chose red velvet if I could only choose 1 ... but I need to shout out to my second choice, the pistachio, because it's slipping in the poll!

I've never heard of maple bacon, sounds interesting. My vote is classic chocolate and vanilla.

Red velvet is always a winner... mmm and the cookie dough sounds so fantastic.  Gooey cookie dough? Sign me up!

I'm totally surprised you didn't go with vanilla cupcakes w/ vanilla icing. That's a staple & usually one of the most popular flavors :)

Bacon maple!  In Portland there is a famous doughnut shop that makes bacon maple bars.  I had one for the first time a few weeks ago.  They seem so wrong, but are so freaking delicious.

Red velvet, even though it's so messy when wearing light-colored clothing. I really want a red velvet cake for our wedding, but I'm too terrified of the cake-face-smush turning into a big red stain on my lovely dress.

    I picked chocolate, but I'd pick chocolate anything - I can't help myself :).

Also, I have a hard time trying new things so I'd definitly be nervous about the bacon. Is it really good?

I just heard about Macon Bacon the other day.  I was thinking no grooms cake before, but now I think we have to have those.  It'll be a surprise for my fiance that he'll love!

@ColorCoated... oh it IS that good. It's not like a fatty, oily bacon flavor- it's a delicate maple flavor, and the bacon is a salty crunch... literally when I thinka bout it my mouth waters!

I might ahve to poll some guys because if they're as crazy about bacon as my man, we might need to order 50% maple bacon!

If there was just one I'd go for Chocolate, but the cookie dough sounds so yummy!  the only one i'd definitely avoid is the macon, but that's just cause i don't eat pork.  I'm sure my guy would LOVE that one!

That is a really cute idea, but to be completely honest I wouldn't take a cupcake. I'm not into desserts and it's not the cleanest, most portable food - even picking it up to put it in a to-go container is messy. The flavor I'd most likely eat is vanilla and that's not one of your options. Sorry to be such a debbie downer, I'm just being honest here!

moderndaisy- that's exactly why we're doing a dessert buffet- cookies, brownies, choc covered pretzels, and fruit- so hopefuly there will be something for everyone! great point!
