Since I was snowed in all week (still am - ugh!) I decided to make my cupcake sticks.  Going with my whole kissing bird theme these will go into my cupcakes.  I'll be making them myself alsocupcake sticks : wedding cupcakes decorating diy bird Cupcakesticks....I am totally crazy!

Adorable! I'm doing some too with elevator button graphics on them (can you see a theme here?). Did you just use regular length toothpicks or did you use longer ones?

Thanks ladies!  I used craft sticks that I picked up at michael's crafts.  They are flat, a little longer, and have a larger end so it was easy to put the top on them.  And all I used were circle stickers on both sides...just line them up and they stick to themselves...so easy! No glue, no cutting, no mess!!

Ooohh circle stickers! So much smarter than what I was planning... I had some vision of printing them out and then cutting all the circles on my Cricut and glueing them together. Circle stickers are so much smarter. I'll have to look for those craft sticks! Thanks for all the smart tips, I'll post mine when I get them done!

Please do!  I was originally going to do mine with a circle punch and then I figured why not try the stickers first and they worked great! And I bet they'll stay together way better than gluing paper together because they bonded instantly to one another and the stick.  The sticks were SO CHEAP too!  I think a bag of....I don't know a thousand....was only $3 or something like that.

    happy crafting!!
