Ok i lied. I just bought one. I called my mom and told her we had to have a cupcake decorating party at my bridal shower. So now we're all going to make individual wedding cupcakes to eat!!!

Those are so cute!! How big are they -- as in, would eating a whole one be totally too much?

I am in love with wedding cupcakes. I ordered some delicious ones from a bakery and am trying to decide if I'll make-at-home the Wilton giant cupcake-shaped cake. These are the complete opposite, being cake-shaped cupcakes! I am loving them!

If any of you ended up ordering these, how easily did they come out of the pan? I feel like it could be really difficult to keep the shape intact.

    I SO WANT THOSE CUPCAKES!!!

And Lillindy why not have them for anniversary time?  Why not?  Surround the little cupcakes with the original wedding cake top tier in the center?

These are so cute!  I love this cupcake mold!!!

@fifty: I've got OCD when it comes to cake decorating. lol if the icing is not perfectly smooth it gives me a nervous twitch! If I had that pan (which I am thissssclose to purchasing) I'd probably cut the tiers apart & frost them. Kinda defeats the purpose though lol

lol. i'm with you on that, though i think i'd stop before cutting them apart. :p

the stuff i'm talking about is like a poured fondant/white chocolate thing. it ends up being totally smooth and perfect. :p

Those are really cute!  But if making a lot, I'd imagine they take FOREVER to frost.  I love to make cakes myself, and decorating regular cupcakes is pretty easy since you just swirl the frosting around with a large start tip, then stick on a flower or some sort of pick.  The tiers would make it harder.

    i so want that tin!!!!

im thinking a chocolate batter with a light dusting of icing sugar and icecream on the side... no frosting issues that way :)

@Recessionistabride You could cut them apart and add something like jelly/cream filling between the layers. Then it would not only justify your OCD icing thing, but also add a tasty extra! (:

Has anybody used this before?  Is it a pain in the butt to frost them?  How do you frost them without them looking awful??
