So for our reception, we are having 2 kegs, wine and 1-2 specialty drinks. I have about 50 mason jars that I was going to put out for people to use for the specialty drinks and then get plastic cups for the rest. I went to our local restaurant supplier and found 12 oz plastic cups and 6oz wine glasses for pretty cheap. Do you think this is tacky if I use them?
Also, for some reason our caterer doesn’t supply water glasses so we would have to use those for the water glasses on the table as well.

I used clear plastic cups for beverages and I thought it was just fine. I rented wine glasses and water goblets, but for the cocktails I couldn’t expect everyone to keep using the same cup and there was no way I was renting 100’s of glasses so I thought the plastic cups were just fine.

I used plastic cups and wine glasses for my wedding. It is definitely not tacky and cleanup was so much easier with no glass.

Plastic was available, but we rented glasses. We are having iced tea and lemonade, so hopefully it all works out. But plastic is great – no cleanup!

That is what I’m thinking. We would have to order water glasses from a completely separate place and getting plastic glasses will make things so much easier. Thanks bees!
