Say Yes to the Dress!!! Is it for real?

Curious as to why some ladies blur their faces in pictures.

I am a little curious as to why some of our bees blur their faces in pics? I assume it is a privacy thing but is it to prevent someone from possibly recognizing you? Like I said, just something I always wondered about...

    It's a privacy thing, mostly.

I respect it, but do not understand it. But then again, I get paid for people to look at me while I babble. LOL

I did it in my dress pictures in hopes that if my fiance for some unknown reason comes across it (even though I've told him not to go on here for this reason) that he will hopefully not recognize me.

I did it in my dress pictures for privacy.  I live in a small town 10,000 ppl & if I found WeddingBee than there's a good chance that others have also found it.  I just don't want anyone to know my dress before I actually walk down the aisle!

I do it because I wore little make up that day and didn't do my hair. I did not look lady like lol :p

It's not even about the big day for me. I hate having my pictures up on facebook or myspace or what have you. Hence, well, actually I don't see myself putting a picture up on the net, blurred or not but I understand those who do.

I guess some women don't want to be recognized... Me personally, I don't care!

I guess also because if you recognize the person's face you could click their screen name and read all the posts they've responded to and such.  Find out information about them maybe.

I blurred my face when I posted some dress pictures because I don't want my fiance or the numerous brides to be in my life to accidentally come across it. It is more of the fact that they could click my user name and see everything I've posted. My few posts so far are fine but if I ever wanted to write a vent post or etiquette question, cost of my wedding etc, I dont want those I know reading them. People stalk people on facebook and find out all about their life. I don't want someone I know doing the same on here and finding out all about my wedding planning.
