Your “thoughts” had me laughing! I’m in the same boat – curly hair, but love it straight, wearing it curly for the wedding. I love the last one but I actually like “Rapunzel” for me! Thanks for the inspiration! =)

I have naturally curly hair (that I’m also trying to grow out after a crazy  decision to chop it off last year).

I LOVE your Rapunzel & Goldilocks pictures and added those to my collection 🙂 Thanks!! Good luck girl!!

(Isn’t it fun to have naturally curly hair? It’s either going to frizz or look like Bozo depending on the weather and how much it’s been messed with. And my mom thinks the exact same thing about my hair when straight  ~ and people tell me that they don’t recognize me bc I look like a totally different person with straight hair. Oh the joys…)

So your name is Emily and you have curly hair? Hmm, me too!

Except your hair is beautiful. And mine, well, it’s usually a frizz ball. And I don’t have the patience to straighten it.

I’ll probably wearing a similar style to your inspiration style, except more half up/half down, if that makes sense.

Anyway, I love your inspiration style and agree that looks just right and the most natural of them all. No need to go all Medusa if that’s not what you usually do for special occasions. Hope it turns out well!

Add me to the list! I’m an Emily with natural curls… I’m going to wear mine down for the wedding, with a headband or some delicate detailed bobbies. I’ll probably look into getting some clip-in “extensions” to add some extra body to the bottom layers because they tend to get a little stringy/lonesome down there. I’m loving the Goldilocks look!

I’ve never had trouble with frizz. I use John Frieda’s curl/anti-frizz line and it’s fantastic. His anti-humidity hairspray is light (no sticky glumpy hard prickly hair, dont worry) and really does a GREAT job holding your style and locking out moisture.

I’ll also be keeping a little bottle of curl serum (maybe Aveda’s Be Curly?) in my bag to run through my ringlets if they get separated or frizzy at all.

I too have naturally curly hair and am planning to do my own hair (so far). AHHHHHHH! I plan on doing it in big curls using a big curling iron.  Tried it once and it worked nicely but i had to use a ton of superhold hairspray.  I often wish I could just shave it all off, lol

I’m feeling left out that there is an ‘Emily with curls’ club. Any other Stephanie’s with curls? lol

@lairdea I’m going to have my hair professionally done, and i will mention this to her when it’s time to do my trial. I definitely want at least half of my hair down and do not want a complete updo.

I am scared of it frizzing up but I think my hair stylist will have enough products and knowhow to keep that from happening and still keep me happy. 🙂
