I’ve gained quite a bit of weight which has caused my face to go from oval to very round. What is a flattering hair style that might make me look a little less round?
I’ve heard beehive or updoos with lots of volume on top. I wanted to wear my hair down in waves but I don’t find it very flattering on me.
Did anyone take their hair into consideration when trying to find a flattering look?

I’m wearing mine curly, as I think curly hair looks best on me.

@FleeSircus: I’m wearing mine down in curls.. But with lots of volume in the crown.

@FleeSircus: I wore mine braided to one side, and then loose curls on that side.

I find, with my somewhat rounded face, that a hairstyle that is ‘up’ in back or on top but leaves a chin-length lock down on either side of my face does great things. It’s a look that at least on me is face-slimming and feminine and flattering. I can’t find a google image to illustrate exactly what I mean, but this sort of idea, only with the locks not quite so thick:
Or something like this, except I like to have each lock closer to my eyes, like the one on her right, not the one on her left:
I try to get the locks of hair lying just to the side of each of my eyebrows. Like maybe half an inch away on either side? It really frames the face prettily.

Down in waves could work nicely, as long as you put some up on the top with a little poof. I also
think that off to one side with a side part is flattering on a fuller face!
