I recommend looking for someone to custom make something for you. I recently worked with an amazing couple on Etsy to custom make my engagement ring, they have a ring that I think is almost what you’re discribing, except the pave is all the way down, you’d just have to e-mail for a quote to change it. 🙂

Here’s the ring I was talking about.

They can customize it any way you’d like as well, smaller stones for the pave, or whatever you’d like. Also if you have your center stone they’ll mount it for you. 🙂

@jMariie:  All you have to do is send them the first picture and explain that. 🙂 You agree on price and all specs before anything is exchanged. Then once the price is agree’d on, and specs, you pay for it, then they’ll do full color computer renderings for you, for example, here is one of my renders :

Once we made a few changes to the render, we got a new one with the changes applied. Agreed on that, and the ring was made. Then approved the final ring, and it was shipped, whole process took two weeks. They was amazing to work with.

My ring is a cushion with 3 rows of micropave but no halo. I just adore it! And get so many compliments on the band. I think the 3 rows is just gorgeous! Can’t wait to see your upgrade!

@jMariie:  thank you! It only goes down 3/4 of the band. I have to tell you, it’s sooooo comfortable!! I forget I’m wearing it sometimes! My center is 1.2 carats. Cushions are such a gorgeous shape no matter what you do you can’t go wrong!!

@iiiEllie:  Awww thank you!!! Mine too!! I hardly ever see them in person, which makes me obess more about them online haha

@DJones69:  If the FI’s cool with it, why does it matter?

I would work with a really competent vendor because pave is difficult to do correctly and is not going to be maintenance free and as easy to own as, say, a plain solitaire. As long as you’re well aware of that, I would go with someone like leon mege (that’s who did your inspiration pic with the pink halo), steven kirsch, victor canera, Brian Gavin, etc. Are you familiar with pricescope? That’s where I would head!
