I got mine from The Knot store. I waited until they went on sale for $17.00/100 and then found an additional coupon online. We got brown napkins with white printing and they turned out really nice!
Whew, that's a lot of napkins! :)
See, I think so too. 8/guest. But I guess I have to factor in each time they get a drink, take an hors d'oeuvre during cocktail hour, then the same thing during the reception...cake...Ah!
WOW that is a LOT of napkins!! We had 300 napkins which was close to 3 napkins per guest and we had SO many leftover napkins!!! And we got them from Foryourparty.com which was fairly inexpensive I believe!
@ StephinPA: I made our beverage napkins and they came out super cute and fancy without the huge cost! I bought 3-ply ivory napkins from Smart & Final--they come in packs of 75 for $2.99 or $3.49 (I can't remember). I then went to Michaeal's and bought an elegant alphabet stamp set (don't forget your 40% off coupon) some watermark ink, gold embossing powder and an embossing heat gun.
It didn't take very long to do them and it was far, far less than if I would've purchased them.
Your guests won't notice if they are imprinted, especially since you need such a large quantity. You can order them at oriental.com inexpensively or http://www.factorydirectparty.com/tableware/napkins.html . Even Costco may carry something that works for you. Avoid wedding-specific sites since they will be more expensive.
I got mine off Ebay....800 for $108. I think thats plenty of napkins...and this guy does a great job too. They have all different amounts too, more and less then 800. http://cgi.ebay.com/800-PERSONALIZED-BEVERAGE-NAPKINS-/170521534736?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27b3e02110
I got my napkins from the paperhat on etsy. I was more than happy with my purchase. http://www.etsy.com/shop/thepaperhat?ref=seller_info
Could you have plain (colored) napkins for the cocktail hour and perhaps some personalized napkins for cake/dessert?
I have never been to a wedding with stations, so I do not know if this is something that is done, but could you have small dessert plates at the stations? Then, the person could use the plate more than once?
I ordered napkins from the knot and was super tickled with them!
I also ordered mine from the knot and they turned out perfect! They were $17.00/100.

Since we're not having a true sit-down dinner, there is no need to have place settings at each table, hence no cloth napkins. Instead our caterer will use beverage napkins since we're doing mini-entree stations. With this in mind FI and I thought it would be a good idea to order custom beverage napkins in our colors, instead of plain, ole, white napkins.
Our caterer said around 8 napkins/guest...that's around 1056 napkins. HOLY MAMMA!
I've been checking out sites online. Anyone have a recommendation?
Thanks.
