The material looks different, the original look more shiny/satin-y, and the Duosheng one looks organza?
I actually like the beaded belt of the Duosheng version better, but I don't like the ruffles...the original was more subtle and flowy and soft and the Duosheng ruffles are bigger and stiffer looking and more in your face...lol
But overall, it's a pretty good copy...what's the price difference?
original is 1149 and duosheng is 350 for regular organza. the original is made out of a Vincenza organza (no idea what that means) but for 450, duosheng can make the dress with a higher quality material.
Seems expensive, I bet Jasmine's Bridal Shop could do a better replica for much cheaper.
I'm sorry, i dont think its a very good replica... still a nice dress but not in comparason to the original.
What do you think? That's what matters. What is it about the first dress do you like, and does the second dress have that? For example, if you like the sort of fit and flare silhouette of the first, the second dress is much more A-line looking in the picture. I will say though, that the beading on the belt is one of the better "replica" jobs I've seen.
@SutSip: I agree.
I like the higher cut sweetheart and the belt in the replica, but that's a personal preference. If I had never seen the first, I never would have guessed it wasn't an original design. It doesn't have the look of a replica that some do, I'm not sure how to explain that, but some dresses just seem to try so hard at a look and they totally are a miss in design.
I think the material looks cheap, and the shape is wrong, I would try and by a sample as opposed to a replica.
this is rather funny but i actually read the question wrong and thought the replica was the original and vice-versa. I was going to write and say that I really like the original so much better. BUT it turns out that what I thought was the original was a replica. I cannot believe that gorgeous dress is 300-500 dollars! I think its beautiful! I bet if u asked people in a poll if they knew whih was the real one and which was the replica, i bet people wouldnt know!!
