It's really pretty! I am curious why you didn't buy the ring in the inspiration pic?
@chloees_mom: he is. Funny enough, I was basically harassing him on a weekly basis inquiring about the status of the ring. Luckily, he's a family friend and really sweet guy so he didn't seem too annoyed.
@wrkbrk: thank you!
@bunnyharriet: Jeweler is a family friend and happy to make it. Plus, I found it to be a much easier process than buying from a vendor I'm not familiar with.
@tisposeroperche: I actually found it in a different thread on this site.
@mstellah: Wow that is gorgeous together. Did you have a local jeweler do it? And was the cost higher because it was customized?
@kgirl91: I have big knuckles. My ering is like that too.
@sshumatey: yes, local jeweler. No clue if it costs more...I would assume it would actually be cheaper.
aaaaaahhhhh, I love it.. Just when I finally start to make up my mind to get a standard eternity band, I just HAVE to come across posts like this! :T
That is GORGeOUS. I would be so worried it would fall off though - you have such dainty fingers, I think the size is too big!
@mstellah: This band is really beautiful! And it looks fantastic with your e-ring! Slight ring envy here haha
I love this band!!
@mstellah: Just curious, do you happen to have any pictures of the band not sitting under your e-ring? I ask because I have a halo and I love your band but the way my setting is, it's impossible for a wedding band to sit "under" it. I'm curious of how it would look sitting next to the e-ring. Thanks!
@jwilk241: thank you! I don't have a pic on me but I'll take one tonight and post.
OH! your band is gorgeous! Too bad I'd not seen your post before I ordered my band... Now I'm writing this down for maybe a future anniversay band! :P
@jwilk241: sooo I tried but I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for or if it will help
@mstellah: actually it does help. Since a band won't go under my ring I wanted to see what the "finger coverage" would look like. I was afraid it would look like too much going on with the halo but I actually think it's really pretty. Now, to find a store that carries an infinity twist band so I can try it on! :)
@jwilk241: Please let me know if you find/take a pictures of your setting with a band similar to this. My setting also doesn't allow for anything to sit right under, although I don't mind the gap as long as its not to much
@mstellah: LOVEEEEE your band. I have been thinking about this but I saw it only in picutres of a white twisted band and an emarald stone e-ring didn't like it. I LOVEEEE this... officially pinning it to my board to show it to my jeweler when I go look at wedding bands :-). Out of curiosity, what size r u and what is the tcw, if you don't mind sharing, of the wedding band and e-ring? I ask because I'm wondering if it would look to much on my finger (size 6) with my e-ring thats cushion..... Thanks!!
@maxip: I did try an infinity band on but ultimately decided to go with something else because of the price. It didn't look bad with my ring though. I didn't get a picture but I when I go pick up my band (hopefully tomorrow) I can take a picture of the infinity band just so you can see it. I will say the infinity band they had was slightly different (the gaps between the twists were more round as opposed to oval) but it should still give you a good idea of what it would look like.
I LOVE your wedding band. It would never work with my e ring, but I would love something like that!
I just love your wedding band and ering. Interestingly they really compliment each other. I would never have thought to put them together, but WOW they really look beautiful!
@maxip: thanks! When I showed my jeweler the inspiration pic he couldnt wait to start making it and was very excited with the outcome (as was I).
My ring size is 5.25. The center stone is a little over 1.5 carat. The ering is over 2 CTW (forget exact specs) and the eternity band is about 1 CTW. It looks very dainty and delicate and not overwhelming at all.
@bossypants: please do!
thank you ladies, I absolutely love it and am so happy you do too! I originally wanted to get 2 wedding bands but my FI wasn't going for it so I thought the twisted ring was a nice compromise :)

I thought I would post my experience of having my wedding band made for others to see what the process is like.
Both my engagement ring and wedding band are custom made but for simplicity I will show the process of the band only.
I started with this picture for inspiration and gave it to my jeweler.
About a week later he sent me CAD images to approve.
(Too many to post but you get the idea)
About 3 weeks later I was able to come in for the final product!
And here it is with my ering
