Gorgeous ring! I would pair it with a plain white gold wedding band and let the ering take the show.

I had a custom engagement ring made. It is a carved/engraved white gold with a milligrain border and a 3ct peach stone. To play off the stone I had a matching custom wedding band made. The wedding band has the exact same design sans the sapphire and is cast in rose gold. My fiance also has a custom wedding band. The inside is my rose gold band (same width and mold as mine) with a white gold double milligraining that makes it wide enough for a guy. It matches my ering and wedding band perfectly and the cost was not prohibitive.

flowerofeden:  My e-ring is white gold, and with a unique band there was not matching wedding band. If I went with a custom wedding band that sat flush with the e-ring, I wouldn’t be able to wear the w-band by itself (well, I guess I technically could, but I wouldn’t look very good!). Then I found when I tried on white w-bands it took the uniqueness away from my e-ring. So I went with a rose gold wedding band to distinguish the 2, and theres a slight gap but I’ll be able to wear the w-band by itself. Here’s a pic!

flowerofeden:  HOW GORGEOUS!!  Have you tried looking yet?  You may surprise yourself at what you can find on your own.  I wanted a simple pave band that matched the band of my e-ring and figure it’d be easy enough.  What I didn’t realize is b/c the ring is custom, a straight band wouldn’t sit flush against it, not that there’s anything wrong with a gap.

I was lucky to find something completely different and it works beautifully.  Go shopping!!  Get a taste of what’s out there and you can start eliminating.

housebee:  I LOOOOVE the infinity band!!  Great choice!!

Here’s what I (thought I) wanted, vs. what I got:

I love my wedding band. It has a similar detail ti my engagment ring. I am going to get a plain band that matches my husband’s band better for daily wear. Then I can make a pretty stack!

flowerofeden:  No! I got it from Kay. The ones in our area have been wonderful.

It can be so fun to play with what type of band to get for a custom!  My e-ring is custom made, but not too unusual, so my jeweler made a matching band to go with it, and I’ll be rocking the gap – and I’ll be getting another two mis-matched bands to stack.  I was VERY inspired by FutureDrAtkins!

Here is one of the rings I’ll be adding:

And the other – this pic is from Etsy, but I’ll be having my jeweler make it to keep the same metal/diamonds/warranty:
