Ours is through weddingwindow.com. It is an absolute fantastic site, everything is customizable. It was under $100 for the year. I think even after we upgraded to a custom website address it was still around $100 or just below. Everyone loves it. Oh and customer service is quick and really really helpful.
We did ours through mobileme (it's an Apple service). I think the whole thing was $60 for the year and included a bunch of email addresses, as well as the domain name.
Ours is on wordpress.com, and I searched until I found a template where I could customize the header, which matches our invitation suite. (Oh yea, and wordpress is a free blog-hosting site.)

eeeeeeh...I don't want a website that's already set up that you can just change things...I'm looking for a company that will create a totally unique website for us...

It sounds like you're looking for a graphic designer/web developer. Maybe try posting something on Etsy and see who's willing to work with you? Someone else may be better able to give you advice on what this might cost, but I think if they're charging by the hour it could get very expensive very quickly.
I'd reccomend posting an ad on Craigslist or doing an Etsy alchemy request - but I have to tell you that it is going to be pretty expensive - website designs usually run at least $500. Put your budget out there, and see if you can find someone who will be able to work with you!

I'm interested in doing a REALLLLLLLLLY COOL wedding website that would be totally custom matched to our invitation suite. How do I go about doing this? Has anyone done this? Who do you recommend or not recommend? What should I be looking to budget for this service?
