Custom wedding band idea – thoughts?

They’re probably brass, or aluminum.  You could technically make a ring out of those metals, but I’m not sure how durable/comfortable they would be.  The brass might turn your skin green.  How about something like this?  You could have traditional gold rings made, with just an inset strip of the key metal.

That’s a very sentimental thing to do! 🙂 I would be careful using key metals because premium metals, such as gold and platinum, palladium, are non-allergenic for most, don’t change colour and do not tarnish. A wedding ring is worn everyday, and needs to be resilient. The premium metals are also sizeable, whereas others might not be.
