@ExcitedforMay:  yes I did! Basically they only refund if there r quality issues, it’s 50% down. They made quite a few dresses from what he showed me but I didn’t get a definitive number. The guy I spoke to was very nice. He explained the design process to me and seems very legit

I am using dressmyway for my custom dress! I just started the process so will let you know how it goes but pls tell me how it goes for you if u decide to use them! I was a little worried too not seeing many reviews but their FB page with photos looked really legit so I took the plunge! I researched A LOT of custom shops too and emailed several – ieie in NJ, a custom shop in chicago, a few asian and chinese shops on etsy, etc etc but nobody reached the level of responsiveness or comfort level that dressmyway offered. I stronly suspect though, their production takes place in asia/korea? Its taken more time than I thought to get started. I did think about jasmines, elegant park, dressilyme, fabulous u, etc but I feel bc these plcs have gotten so popular they have too many customers and perhaps their personal attention, turnaround time, ability to really really work with you has probably diminished somewhat — or they will just charge u extra $$$ for it. I think they are best for straightforward replicas, but my design was mostly from scratch with elements from different dresses I was inspired by and I wanted pure silk satin fabric. In fact, one etsy shop declined to do it, and I suspect jasmines would have (I mean, they can take their pick of what dresses they want to do at this point I feel). Anyway, I am really hoping dress my way can make my dress idea come to life…sometimes I worry it won’t come out as I am imagining but the deposit is down already so am crossing my fingers!!!

I did visit Dress My Way sometime last year. While they were very pleasant and explanative, I was not that impressed with the quality of the dresses and fabric. Come to find out they design in their studio, but the dresses are made in China. This may work for some brides, but I needed to be hands on through the entire process and know who is working on my dress. After all, this is the most expensive dress I will ever invest in. I did some research and stumbled across a few other design firms, but the company I decided to go with was Binzario Couture. The guys were super sweet and the quality of the dresses were more what I was looking for, very couture. They design and make the dresses in their Dallas shop (Made in the US). Besides, the reviews were all great and every bride seemed to feel like I felt when I picked up my dress. OMG. Awesome experience. I told them I will be singing their praises to everyone I know.
