kimmo416:  I would order at least twice as many guests as you are expecting. So if thats 100, I would order at a minimum 200. If you having an open bar and the bartender will give a napkin everytime he/she gives a drink you would need wayyyy more than that, but if you are having them off to the side of the bar where people take as needed if they want, I dont think you would need more than 200.

Caveat: I havent done this before so this is merely speculation and what I plan to do.

kimmo416:  The Knot sale right now is a good one – prices haven’t been that low since we ordered our napkins in November! Just in case you want to shop around! 🙂 We got teal and brown napkins and we’re happy with the outcome and overall quality. The reviews are pretty accurate.

We’re expecting around 130 guests and we ended up ordering 300 personalized napkins to use during cocktail hour. I was thinking they could just be stacked at the bar and the bartenders could give them out with some drinks, but I’m not really sure how it works. Our venue will supplement the personalized napkins with their standard white napkins, so I’m not too worried about running out. If we end up with extras, we’ll bring them into the reception and finish them off. I think double is fine unless you don’t have back-ups, in which case I’d order at least 100 more.

kimmo416:  Glad I could help 🙂 And I’m glad you got the good price – I’ve been watching them since we bought ours because I wanted to make sure I got the best deal, haha.
