I just mailed all my invites out. They got there the same way I think they would have if I would have bought stamps from zazzle.

I don’t even think anyone actually looks at the stamps anyway.

Regular stamps are perfectly fine. Honestly, no one but the bride cares about them anyway lol. Just so you know, there are new postcard stamps coming out 1/17. The old ones had Hawaiian shirts on them and were over-the-top ugly. The new ones have simple apples on them. Pre-order them and consider yourself lucky that you weren’t one of the many brides forced to use the Hawaiian shirts lol

I just used good old Canada post.  It was spring so I think they were purple hydrangeas or something like that.

I just got the stamps for my save the dates from USPS. We opted to order the red “love” forever stamps. It was around $45 for 100 stamps. If you want to add a personal touch maybe instead you can get photo stickers to seal the envelopes with. We stamped the front of each envelope with A Purple Heart that says “just for you” the stamp was $1.00 and the ink was around $4. Both were from Michaels.

@Britt214:  The worst. I was waiting to order stamps for my save the dates because I heard there was a price increase coming. I don’t care about paying an extra 60 cents total for my postage if it means I can avoid the Hawaiian shirts. They were around for far too long lol

FYI… the USPS does have forever stamps that are wedding appropriate. The 45 cent stamp has ivory roses (that’s what I used), the 65 cent stamp has a picture of a wedding cake.

I used the red love stamps for the STD’s.

THE COST OF POSTAGE GOES UP ON JANUARY 27TH, I BELIEVE. FOR ALL OF YOU PLANNING TO BUY LOTS OF STAMPS, GO BUY THEM BEFORE AND SAVE A FEW DOLLARS.

I plan to buy enough to mail thank you cards before the postage change date.

I’m going to use old vintage stamps, they sell in packs so that I can use for local postage, not sure what to do for international postage yet, I think I will leave them blank to avoid confusion (also I think most of them wont send them back but emails so I wont bother).

I got regular ones at the post office…one had white roses, the other was a red wax seal with a heart in the middle.
