- Wedding: July 2013
Good Afternoon All,
My fiance and I live in the same apartment in NYC and I am handling all the save the dates that go out. I recently ordered a customized wooden stamp with our address. I didn’t think much about the format of the address and whether it would be formal enough for the wedding, this is how I typed it out:
Marie Lastname & Enrique Lastname
123 East 123th Street, Apt 12A
New York, NY 10029
Now, I did some research on the format of how to write guests addresses on envelopes and found that my format doesn’t match the standard/formal way of writing guest addresses. Do you think this really matters or do I have to rewrite it as:
Marie Lastname (and) Enrique Lastname
123 East 123 (no th) Street, Apartment 12 (space) A
New York, New York 10029
Do you think writing out the and matters? Should I add the ‘th‘ after 123? etc..
The place that I ordered from fixes these problems with no charge supposedly. They will send me another one if I request it. Now, do you think it is worth the hassle or should I just leave it as is? I plan on sending these Save-The-Date Cards out by the end of the month.
Looking forward to what everyon thinks! Thanks Ladies.
