I would just leave it how it is and get a flat band wediing band to go with it. A bee just posted her ring with the prongs kite set...did you see it? I LOVE the flat bands and it would look fantastic with your e-ring too.
However, I love milgrain and am a believer that milgrain is never a mistake! :)
I have chanel set diamonds and decided to leave it plain, but its totally up to you! Its your ring you gotta do what you love!
channel set milgrain bands are beeyooteeful! I don't think you can go wrong w/either one, though.
The ring you posted it pretty similar to my ring and it looks good with the plain band, trust me all you can see are the sparkles anyway :) I chose a milgrain band to go with it as I wanted a plain band, thou not completely plain :)
Sorry this has been posted a lot but I don't have many shots of both rings together...
I love milgrain detailing and specially requested it on my custom e-ring! I think it adds a lot to the look of a ring without really doing much (or without costing a lot more!).

Thank you for the suggestions! I really like milgrain, but was exploring other options as the FI isn't crazy about milgrain, but I think I still want to do something

I'm new to this site, but I thought I'd give this a shot. we started looking at e-rings recently and we have decided on a custom ring. the jeweler has a CAD/CAM system and the first wax model was amazing! however I'm not sure what to do about the plain metal areas on the band alongside the stones and below the stones, I like milgrain, but I was wonder what other options are out there!
