I wouldn't want sand all up in my dress, so I would probably go for something with a lot shorter train.

I think it's very difficult for the bride to be overdressed at her wedding! :) I think your dress will fit a beach wedding perfectly!!

I think I would have the train lined with cotton or another sturdy fabric so it wasn't completed ruined being dragged over the sand.

I wouldn't worry about it being a beach wedding.  What matters is if you like the train or not, period.  Sand can be cleaned up, just the same as dirt would if you were having a wedding in a park.  Don't let your surroundings dictate what makes you feel beautiful!

I'd leave it as is, it's beautiful.

As a beach wedding photographer, I can tell you that sand falls right off/dusts off super easy. With my brides, dresses are typically cleaner after a beach wedding than they are with a wedding anywhere else.

@starfish0116:  Ohhhh thats great to know :) Thank you , I wasnt worried about the sand as much as I just wanted the dress to be approriate , many beach or destination dresses are very simple and I just didnt feel liek a bride in any of them .. I love my dress :)

@Milan21xx:  You wear whatever you want and whatever makes you feel most like a bride! :)

Don't worry about just the beach, seriously, you'll be spending all of 15 minutes max for a ceremony (I'm assuming, my beach ceremonies are super short) and probably another 45-1 hour max on beach pictures. You'll be spending so much more of the day off the beach - definitely utilize other areas of your venue for a variety of photos.

maybe you can bustle it up during the ceremony so it wont end up full of sand?

i think it beautiful, my only concern would be the sand all over the train

I had a simple chiffon dress for my beach wedding and I was SO glad I got the train chopped off of mine, and it wasn't even a very long train.  Just gave the dress so much more movement(which made for amazing pictures) and was much easier walking on the beach barefoot with it.  I know the train would have annoyed me to no end and would have dragged in the sand behind me.  Our photographer got some amazing shots of us walking along the beach at sunset and I'm glad I didn't have to worry about how the train looked.

My eyes are watering at the thought of you chopping that dress. It's a beautiful train, and because you're having a beach wedding doesn't mean you need to get rid! When else in your life are you going to be able to wear a dress with a train? Do NOT touch it, haha.

FOr a beach wedding, I'd be tempted to cut the train, otherwise you wil lend up dragging along the whole beach behind you.  Gorgeous dress!
