Its a signifiant cut....do you have a lot of acquaintances and such you can cut - and real it in to family and close close friends?
Agree with PP, can you cut that many? You could safely invite 130 and 5 will likelt cancel, but more than that you run a big risk.
Coworkers, second cousins, kids etc that you can cut across the board?
I was looking at my guest list and i can cut atleast 30 people and on Fis list his mom added people we dont know and people she know wont show up. I am pretty sure we can cut the list then have a B list for the people who can come if we get No RSVPs...
That is a big cut, and I know how hard it is to cut people. Really depends on who you have on there. I looooove those pictures though. I REALLY don't want to get married in a church, but I'd be all over that one!

@BayStateBride: Im still working on it but also looking for a back up. Fi is not going for it AT ALL...
I just cut my half of the guest list down to 56 YAY! I might get to have my wedding here!

So I was searching for a new venue... And I found THE PERFECT VENUE! Fi really wanted to get married in a church (but neither of us go to church so I dont know why) But I found the perfect little chappel. the only problem is have a guest list of 200 and the max at this venue is 125. It is in buget it has a adorable little area for a reception and includes tables chairs and linnens. Ill share a few pictures to show you how adorable this place is!
And yes these are the chairs provided below!
