No, it is super nice! I think it's super classic and gorgeous.
As to size, no one can answer that, it's all up to you. Mine is probably the same size and I love it. :) But don't let the comments people make make you think it's a size thing, maybe they just don't give compliments well. Lol.

I really like it! If you were to show me that ring in person, I would probably reply with "it's so pretty!" because "beautiful" and "gorgeous" just aren't words I regularly break out in my day-to-day lexicon, even though the ring deserves such adjectives. As for the size, like the previous poster said, it's all up to you. I personally like rings around that size the best!

That's beautiful! I recently met a new girl at work who had just gotten engaged. I asked to see her ring. I said "pretty" instead of something else because I didn't want to seem weird or gushy to a stranger. Is it just people you don't know that well saying it?
I think it's a perfectly good size. It's not tiny by any means. I've seen some gorgeous rings that were only 1/4 ct, so in general I don't think size matters in terms of beauty. You should be proud of yours. It's very sparkly!

I would never take "pretty" as anything but a compliment. The "cute" is a bit annoying, but it says more about that person than your ring.
Um my first thought was "gorgeous" if that helps at all :) :) it isn't too small at all! I'd never call that ring "cute" (or any ring, actually! haha)
Depends on who youre comments are coming from... I know in my family sometimes "cute" or any other short comment is a clear sign of jealousy hahaha
I am not the type of person to be all "omg that is soo pretty" or "ooh that is gorgeous!" but I will be say "Oh that's nice" or "Wow, I like that" but that's just because I'm awkward with words and just strange like that haha

I think the size is perfect! Especially in proportion to your hand and the sparkle factor is great!! 
The only small part of your ring is the band, and I like them super thin. I think it looks dainty, but in a good way because it makes your center stone look huge in comparison.
I was expecting something the size of a grain of sand when I opened this thread. Your ring IS gorgeous. No way is it too small.
it is pretty and beautiful! cute is definitely an inaccurate word to describe it. people who say things like that look "cute" pretty much use that word to describe everything. they need to get a better vocabulary, but besides that I'm sure they do not mean to offend. I would take it as a compliment.
@Futuremrsaraico: I don't think cute and pretty are insults. I always thought they were positive attributes.
In all honesty, I usually throw out beautiful or gorgeous when the ring is undoubtedly huge or very uniquely beautiful. Your ring is certainly not small by any means, but I also dont think it's huge so I think pretty is very fitting and not an insult at all.
I'm really glad you posted this. Whenever somone looks at my ring they say it's so cute. I know my ring isn't huge but its .75 carat with a gorgoues setting. I wouldn't trade it in for anything else. I still always wonder why thats the only word used to describe it.
It is a very beautiful ring! Not small at all. If anything, I would say the band is slimmer than I would personally pick for MYSELF, but it really suits you, because you have lovely slim fingers! It is lovely :)
Your ring is absolutely beautiful!! I personally hate when people equate beauty with size, so I think anything positive is a compliment. Your band is nice and dainty which I LOVE, so maybe that's why they say 'cute'?

I have a sapphire center stone, so I often get "neat" and "different", haha. But I love it so that's what matters! Your ring is beautiful! Love the cushion cut.
We are almost ring twins! Mine has a .87 center though and a slightly thicker band. Your is gorgeous, in my opinion. My ring was called "tiny" and "cute" before, and person who said it was trying to be spiteful i think, based on my history with her. I can't stand "cute" in describing rings, but that's just me.

It's beautiful! I think you are getting those comments not because it's small, but because the setting is very thin and dainty.
I think your ring is beautiful! The size of the diamond is great on your hand. Mine band is really thin so it makes my ring look pretty dainty. I get "cute" sometimes too but it doesn't bother me too much because "cute" doesn't mean it's not also beautiful. =)
