No just make snaps or velcro or something. It isn’t sexy but who cares.

These are important considerations!

I found something of interest when shopping for my petticoat.  This solution is not for me…

Anyone else find the idea of creating the appearance of au natural with some faux fur a little disturbing?  Why not go nekkid instead?  Why not get a merkin?

However, they do have some cute polka dot C-strings.

TMI Alert!: I don’t get proper Spanx, but I get the Assets they sell at Target. I am prone to bouts of the yeastie beasties, so I cut the crotch out of mine regularly to keep everything well-ventilated and non-sweaty. They will start to fray after awhile if you don’t finish the  edge with something, but for one day you should be just fine. And as long as the crotch is a separate part (I know in Assets it’s a little diamond-shaped area that’s supposed to serve as underwear) it’s super easy to know where to cut. Then you can wear a thong or whatever underneath and just push aside when the time comes.

I have done a lot of research into spanx because I definitely want some under my dress, but my dress is a low back so I will not be able to wear the traditional kind that come up high. When you are looking at spanx when it says “double gusset” that is what they use to describe the little flap. All the ones that dont come up as high dont have that so I think I might have to result to your solution. You can find spanx tons of places online (like others mentioned on Amazon) and Nordstrom also sells them too, if you go to their website they have a store locator that will show you all the stores that sell them near you.

@Saccebers:  Best post of the day! I say either get them delivered from Amazon or just use a pair of scissors. And I don’t think it would be weird at all to wear a pair of underwear over the spanx! Who’ll know? But you might have some explaining to do at the end of the night…But I guarantee it’ll make your guy laugh!

@Hellish88:  Holy shit. That is amazing. I kind of feel the need to try that out just because it’s so crazy. On the other hand – what if they fell down? Seriously? Like you’re out busting a move on the dance floor and hear a thunk and there’s your sci-fi furry underwear on the dance floor. I’d die. And I agree that I find the furriness wierd and uncomfortable. Why would you choose that?!? If you’re worried about panty lines wouldn’t the furry crotch create some weird shapes under a tight dress? And can you wash that thing?

A friend of mine wore crotchless spanx at her wedding (and looked fantastic.)  Towards the end of the night after hours of wine flowing freely she was on the dancefloor and did a cartwheel (which she apparently used to do a lot of in high school).  Those on the dancefloor were treated to a quick look at her Spanx.

@Saccebers:  I have actually thought of doing this myself. I have the same corset/spanx issue and am not 100% on the spanx yet…. You have a fellow bee FEELING you hahahaha
