Hhhhmmm, I don't think the parks and recs folks actually SHOW up to your wedding, but my biggest concern would be that 80 to 90 people wouldn't FIT there, it's pretty small.
That's good to know. that they don't come scope it out. We saw a wedding with 80 chairs set up that still looked like there was room. I'll have to scope it out again when I visit
I've seen a lot of weddings there with more than 40 people. I also know someone who said they had 100-120 people there.
How's the parking situation around there? I wanted to get married in La Jolla, but it seemed like logistically it would be too difficult getting people from that area to a restaurant or hotel.
Depending on the time of year, parking can be a problem. Street parking is usually 1-2 hours only. What I've heard some people do is hire a valet service or use one of the nearby parking garages. Our hotel block is at a nearby hotel (walking distance) and we will be providing transportation for our guests from the hotel to our reception site (in Rancho Bernardo). I know someone else who provided transportation for her guests from the hotel near her reception to La Jolla.
I am getting married at Cuvier next May and our reception is at George's at The Cove. We rented a shuttle for a very resonable price to shuttle our guest from the hotel to Cuver and than to George's.

Hey girls thought I would throw this one out there. Does anyone know, or has anyone heard of anyone getting into serious trouble with the police/city/authorities for having more than 40 people at Cuiver Park also known as the wedding bowl? We are lookin at 80-90. Thanks
