I hope this is the right place to post my question 🙂
I’m not TTC yet but I have started keeping a period log on my iphone as I plan to start TTC as soon as I get married (in 1 years time) I’m turning 33 in a few weeks so want to be prepared.
I looked at the breakdown and was slightly alarmed at the inconsistency of my cycle length. These are the numbers starting 8 months ago until the current date, is this normal??
27 days (today)
The 35 day cycle length was at a very stressful stage so I chalked that delay up to stress.
It seem so inconsistent – should I be worried??

based on the fact that the “average” cycle is 28 days. I’d say you’re fine. Are you charting or anything to confirm ovulation?
I wouldn’t worry about your cycle lenght personally.

Most people do not have an exacty cycle. I really wouldn’t be worried. Have you thought about NFP/FAM? You take your temperature every day so you know when you are about to ovulate/etc and get a better idea about your cycle.

My cycles ranged from 26 days to 37 days. I don’t think there is a textbook number for how many days a cycle is/should be. 28 is average, but I don’t think that number represents everyone. I used OPK’s throughout my cycle to determine ovulation. Good Luck!

That looks really normal to me! A day or two in either direction isn’t a big deal. I’d be more concerned if the cycles were something like 54, 20, 60, 48, 22, 90, etc…

Whew! Ok thanks ladies.
Reading everyone’s stories and having a few friends who are currently TTC had me worried. I’m thankful for the reassurance

Man…when I came off the pill, I would’ve killed for your cycle lengths! Mine went like this:
So I think you’re totally fine!!

@2PeasinaPod: Is it back to normal (whatever ‘normal’ is?) now?
