Haven’t posted in awhile, the wedding is officially one month away and although were a little late lol we’ve finally gotten around to wedding rings! I LOVE my e ring, its a glowing 1 carat diamond solitaire and its a high rated diamond (LS1? I believe). Although I know my FH would love to spend just as much on my wedding ring we’ve recently found ourselves in a financial bind, not broke but budgeting. Although I know my FH would find a way to make it happen I just feel like spending a crazy amount on a wedding ring would be frivolous right now and really, I wouldn’t mind wearing a CZ ring wrap/guard until we can upgrade. I mentioned this to a friend and she kind of gave me a weird look. I guess it never really crossed my mind UNTIL someone else gave their opion. but I mean, afterall, is it really about the ring?!
Did any of you decide on CZ rings? How is the quality and how do you like them?

What if, for now, you go with a plain band? Then you wouldn’t have to worry about stones turning, etc.

I have a sterling and cz wedding band…very dainty and delicate so it looks perfectly believable. I am not married yet but I wear it for certain things where I want to present a more “conventional/conservative” look, like at parent meetings,e tc. I am an older Bee…..49, so sometimes I want to look more settled 🙂 None of my CZ’s have ever tuend, so I am not sure where peolel get this from.

People have their own ideas about what wedding jewelry “should” be, but who cares. You’re the one wearing it! 🙂
I think a CZ band/wrap is a fine idea…just maybe not permanently, like for decades. I had my entire wedding set, e-ring included, stolen last year and while we were able to file a claim through our insurance to pay for a new e-ring, the wedding ring we can’t really afford right now. I’ve been wearing a very thin, sterling silver and CZ band with my new 1ct diamond e-ring for about 5 months and it actually still looks really good! The stones haven’t turned or anything. I think you’d be fine with a CZ wrap, but if you want something permanent right NOW, maybe opt for a plain band. 🙂

I have a few rings from Berricle that are sterling silver and CZ and I find the quality to be really good, I would suggest looking on their website and see if you find something that would work for you. I think it’s very responsible of you to get a CZ if that’s what is in your budget currently, you can always get a diamond band for an anniversary and when it’s right for your budget. Good luck!

Are you absolutely opposed to a plain band? I wouldn’t want a cz or disposable ring as a wedding band…but that’S just me.
