Hello brides and brides to be, I really really need some help!! I have found “the dress” and its Dabra… I love it. However, having come to order it i didnt realise there was a choice between ivory and white!! and i dont know which to go for.
Also, I have tried the dress on in the shop at US size 8 and it looked amazing, having been and got measured I come in at a size 10…. they shop have convinced me to order the 10 and they will take it in but i am worried about the shape and fit being lost…
has anyone else had this dilemma? does anyone have any pics of the dress in white and in ivory so i can compare? i am running out of time and need to make the order…

@mrs FTB: I had this EXACT same dilemma… down to a T!! I tried on a size 8 and LOVED it. They measured me a size 10 in the bust and waist, but a 4 in the hips (weird, right?). After talking it over with the consultant, she suggested an 8 because that’s the one I fell in love with… it may be snug, but there will be less to alter altogether.
I also went with the ivory because that’s the one I tried on in the store. I was hesitant about other ivory dresses that I had tried on because they all seemed a bit yellow. But I loved this one because it had no yellowish tint and it looked very elegant. The white was beautiful too, but that’s where it all comes down to what suits you the best!

I didn’t order Dabra, I ordered Dillon, but I chose Ivory. The white was just so blindingly white, I couldn’t handle it!

Same brand, but I chose Dalby. I also ordered the ivory – you’re not kidding about that white! (My FMIL is upset – apparently ivory isn’t virginal.)
@mhiltbrand: I had the same issue – I measured an 18 in the bust, and a 10 in the hips. We ordered the 16.

@mhiltbrand: thankyou so much!!! thankyou for your response.
I am going tomorrow, still having dilemma on whether or not to go for the 8 or the 10….
but i realise now its the ivory that i tried on, if i can try and upload a photo could you maybe see if you think this dress looks too small on me…….
and you are right, the ivory is practically off white, not at all yellowy, that why i was uncertain which one it was. but it must have been the ivory. ill put some pics up and would love any feedback on if it looks too small/ if the white might be better..
thanks so much ladies

Could you help me to decide which dress colour is better white, ivory or champagne?
