I know a great photographer. She is very reasonably priced. She didn't do our wedding last year because I didn't know her then, but I wish she would have. She did take one year anniversary pictures for us and I love them.

I live in Dallas but got married in June in Austin. I LOVED my photographer. He is based in Austin but will come to Dallas. He came here at no additional charge to do our engagement photos. He may be moving to Dallas in the next few years anyway for family reasons so is trying to get some clients in the Dallas area. He's reasonably priced and wonderful to work with. He's not annoying and all in your face during the wedding when you just want to enjoy yourself but he still manages to get beautiful shots.

I got to work with Tedd and Teresa from Lucid Eyes during a workshop and they were amazing! I have no idea what their pricing is though...good luck!

I've watched Felipe Natera work and I really like the way he interacts with the client. Felipe also photographs other things besides weddings, and he has also done photography for some modeling agencies and studies.

The ISPWP website has a selection of qualified photographers that serve the Dallas area, with a good variety of price points and styles. They won't be the cheapest around, but they all have lots of experience and are well established in the area. Best of luck!
My photographer was Leslie Spurlock (www.lesliespurlock.com). I think she's very affordable for everything you get, and she does awesome work. A great resource I found is the WPJA website (www.wpja.com) in doing my research. I have a spreadsheet of a lot of photographers I looked at if you're interested - the pricing is outdated since it's from a year ago, but it might give you a better idea.
Check out Jenna Cole (AKA Mrs. Avocado), she's an up and coming photographer in Dallas, she did engagement pictures for me and CityBoy!! I was super impressed with her shots even though she's just starting out, check out her blog: www.jennacole.com

I'll also jump on the Jenna Cole train. She does superb work and her '09 rates are incredibly reasonable! Her '10 rates are also extremely competetive.
Shari Hunt is really great. Her prices were so reasonable compared to others that I wondered what the catch was- still haven't found one!

I also recommend Mrs. Avocado (Jenna Cole)! I did a TTD session wih her and loved the results! The very best way to save on wedding photography is to find an super-talented photog that is just starting out. Mrs. Avo definitely fits the bill! She is VERY talented and her prices are an absolute steal for such high quality work! I'll be featuring my TTD session with her soon!

I can't speak for their work but I just found out a friend I went to college with is a wedding photographer with his wife as part of Life As Art Photography. It may be worth checking out for future brides. He's a really great guy so I imagine they would be a good team to work with.
Tracy is my photographer. He graduated from my uni and is just starting out with wedding. He usually does fashion spreads. But I LOVE him. Super, super affordable. So easy to work with. It was like working with a friend. My e-session will be done this weekend. I will let you ladies know how they turn out. If you want shots that look like fashion spreads, this is the guy for you. He makes me feel glam. Ok. I will stop gushing now.

a wedding photographer for your wedding date and he has great prices for a 4 hr plus 100 of those edited..one 16x20 enlargement of your choice for 450 and 6 hr for 625 with 16x20 portrait enlargement with either package you would get them a cd to print them at any location of your choosing ....if your interested let me know!
