Some places you rent dance floors from have the option. Do you really want to mess with having to apply it and get it up? Sounds like a time-consuming mess to me.
@erinno1: My sister ordered hers from zazzle. I think it was about $60 and was about 3' in diameter
@crayfish: It was actually super easy to apply and get up. It had some type of adhesive on it that didn't damage the floor. We actually lifted it back up, put the backing back on it, and rolled it back into the tube for her to keep as a keepsake.
