Is anyone else taking dance lessons for an extended period of time between now and their wedding?

Yup.  This was made very clear to me when my fiance and I were at a bar the other night and he had a few drinks.  I realized while we were floundering around out there on the dance floor that we will definitely be taking lessons in the near future.

He took a total of 8 lessons, all private. It wasn't cheap, but the first 6 were my birthday present. Our dance will be choreographed, It's still a slow song, but we didn't want to do the stand and sway. We havea few dips and turns that we couldn't ahev figured out on our own. Plus it has been fun to ahve that time together in the lead up the wedding.

we are totally going to take dance lessons and a lot of them... i suck a dancing... my guy is really good (his mother is a dance teacher and used him as a pactice partner for a while), he knows how to keep time and move correctly... i have been standing on his toes while we tried first dance songs.  Haha ^_^

I am taking dance lessons- with my dad for our father daughter dance! We signed up for ten private & ten group classes.... and so far so good he is getting the steps, though he is kinda a slow learner... but he is getting it!

My FH & I might take two private dance lessons just to learn something simple to keep us from just swaying during our first dance. But the mister has some trepidation about it! He doesn't want it to be cheesy or all mushy/gushy. <rolling my eyes>

We are. Our wedding is in October! We plan to start next week. We just bought a package of 15 and can call and go in weekly or bi weekly for private lessons. I really wanted to do it! We'll have a great first dance.
