My husband and I took a class at the Boston Center for Adult Education. It was just one night (3 hrs)-- and it wasn't a dance specifically choreographed to our song -- but we really learned some good things about posture, style, and rhythm. It was also pretty inexpensive and the teacher was great!
Thanks! Just looked it up and their next class doesn't start until August and our wedding is in July. :(
Has anyone been to Fred Astaire in Norwood?
We took lessons with instructors from Suzanne Hamby Ballroom. They are very patient - we really started from zero. They are in Waltham and I think also in Newton. We did 5 private lessons.

Has anyone taken dance lessons in the Boston area? Any recommendations for good, patient dance teachers?
