And because this post made me very tired because I had to post the pictures one by one again, here is another bonus picture :-)
Your flowers look so real! Those were those Real Touch ones right?
@Miss Tattoo: Thank you, and yes the flowers are real touch. They totally fooled everyone and I get to look at them every day. Getting real touch flowers was one of the best wedding decisions that I ever made :-)
What was the site again? I know you've posted it before! Those turned out super nice!
I've enjoyed your recaps so much! You look like the happiest bride. Congrats!!
@bananejaune: Thank you very much. I have one more to do with some of the details that weren't highlighted in the previous recaps of my DIYs, but then I will be done :-)
Gorgeous! I love every detail.
I'm a little disappointed though. Know why? Because now there are no new Noritake DIY projects to wait for. I love your details and your crafts and everything.
Congratulations!
@ellabee: Seriously! She was like the DIY wedding queen! MandaMack is doing quite a bit of DIY so she can take over!
Thank you ladies. You are making me cry...
I am missing the DIYs too :-/
Sorry if this is obnoixously gushy, but your pics really translate the emotion at your wedding. All the special touches (from the DIY to your family being a part of the ceremony, etc) just give me the impression of such a meaningful and touching night.
Your FI looks like the kindest guy and you both look so in love!
I hope I can add enough personal touches to my wedding to evoke that kind of feeling, even though our guest list is unfortunately huge :-/
@Evie19: Thank you so much. I am sure your wedding will be beautiful and full of emotion too. Just be true to yourself and it will come through. I have one more recap post to do on the details, but I am waiting to see if the bee fixes it's posting issues first.
It was so much fun planning everything and seeing everyone appreciate all of the hard work I did, but I do have to worn you, you probably won't see the appreciation until you see your pictures and have time to relax after your day. The day went by so fast that I couldn't remember anything about the day, until a few days later.
Oh, and my husband is the sweetest kindest most lovingest guy ever and we are still madly in love with each other even after being together for almost 11 years; it took me that long to say yes :-)
Wow your flowers are not real? I would have never guessed! And i remember you posting that you made the BM dresses they turned out GREAT and I have to say it i love the blue shoes!!! Congrats on such a amazing wedding it looks like everyone came together great!!!
@noritake22: :) Thanks. I think I'll be asking you for some advice on how to add some personalized touches when it gets a bit closer...:)
All brides have told me the same thing!- That the day goes by so fast and it's kind of a blur!
Congrats again, I wish you many years of love and joy!
@MsPanda: Thank you :-)
And no, the flower are real touch roses. I get to look at them and enjoy them each and every day. Right now they are being displayed on my makeup table, but eventually I want to get a shadow box for them. And yes, I did make the girls dresses and everyone loved those too. Those shoes did not match anthing in my wedding, but I had to have them for my something blue. They were also a big hit.
@Evie19: You are very welcome :-) I probably won't be on here much after I get my last recap done, but if you PM me, I will answer you back. You can also find me on Facebook, but you will need to PM me for my name; I don't mind helping out at all :-)
And yes, the day was very blurry and it wasn't because I was drinking because I didn't have time to eat or drink. I was able to get a plate of food and a drink, but every time I tried to eat or drink there was an interuption of one kind or another.
Thank you also for the wishes :-)
@noritake22: Thanks for being willing to help. :) I'll make sure to PM you when I'm in need.
You poor thing (re: the food)- I hope I get to eat a ton at the wedding after all this freakin dieting!
@Evie19: You are very welcome :-)
Re: the food
I was able to dish up enough food to eat, but guests kept coming up to us, then one of my cousins wanted me to do a video for my grandma that couldn't be at the wedding, then the DJs played a song that my grandma had requested that we play in her absence, so we got up to dance to that, then the sun came out for about 5 minutes, so we got called to pictures. It was a very crazy fun time :-)
Our planner did get some food together for us and put in our room for later though. I couldn't eat then either, except for some cake that I didn't get to eat at the reception either. The day just goes by so fast that there really isn't time to eat and by the time you can eat you are too tired to even think about eating.
@noritake22: At least you got some cake! :) Mmmmmm cake.
FI and I probably won't be able to eat much either, because we will have to make the rounds to all the tables and say hello to the guests during dinner service.
this is one of my fave recaps so far! i love the pic of your daughter wearing no shoes! i love your rings, i love the pic where you see your shoes peeping out of your dress! and i love the one of peeping out from behind a wall (the B&W one)! looks like it was an incredible day. i don't even know you personally, but i feel like do now a little bit and i so genuinely happy for you!
@Evie19: Yes, at least we got some cake. It was pretty good, but not as good as it was at our tastings. They messed up the filling, so it was not what we were expecting; none of the guests noticed though or if they did, they didn't say anything about it.
@PurpleUnicorn: Thank you. We did get some really good pictures that captured the day really well. Our photographer did lose some very important pictures, but we were able to get most of those from one of our guests (the most important one being the one where my hubby first sees me coming down the stairs to him). I am posting my recaps this way because I wanted everyone to see the story of our wedding and feel like they could have been there and I like the fact that maybe everyone, like you, can get to know me a little :-)

Well, I am almost done with the recaps. Only one more to go after this one. Here is a list of what I have recapped, so far.
And now, the dancing and a few miscellaneous pictures. The 1st two pictures are of our rings; before and after our vows. Then my real touch bouquet that my daughter made for me; she did an awesome job. Then the "must have" matching shoes and socks pictures. Then me playing around; this is one of my hubby's favorite pictures. I have no idea why. Then a more traditional shot of me looking at my bouquet.
Then my silly daughter not wearing her shoes. She took them off during the meal and walked around the rest of the time on her tip toes, so I wouldn't know she didn't have her shoes on; silly girl :-) Then there is a picture of my daughter taking a picture of my sons and a couple of friends.
Then a picture of me dancing to Going to the Chapel. It had been a dream of mine since I was a very little girl to have this song played on my wedding day. I didn't know where to include it and thought it was not going to be played, but my planner and the DJ's got together and played right when we came in from outside from getting some pictures taken. It was a wonderful surprise and totally made my day :-)
Then, me dancing with my father, and then my husband's parents weren't able to come to the wedding due to health reasons, so we danced with a close aunt and uncle, then another picture of me dancing with another close uncle, then me dancing with my youngets son, then a couple of favorite aunts be silly on the dance floor. Then me trying to get out of my shoes near the end of the reception.
The one after this one will be some of the details, and it will be my last one.
