Hi, What’s it like to dance in the vw351011 Vera Wang Fit and Flare Flange? And by dance, I mean a choreographed ballroom routine with spins and turns. I’ve added a mermaid crinoline to to this ballroom dress hold out its shape and not only is it huge, it’s so delicate with its net material and frayed edges… I’d love to know how others got on dancing in it. Did you dance in this? Or did you get a 2nd dress? Thanks for your help!

my dress was a satin ballgown, so not a delicate dress, but i got a dancing dress and i’m so glad i did. i was much more comfortable and could dance more easily. i didn’t spend much, i found a bridesmaids dress that i loved and ordered it in white.

Thanks, that’s really useful. I’m tempted to do the same – I just have to convince my fiance…he’s really keen for me to dance in my six inch heels and wedding dress!! Eek!

princessarielbelle: I wouldn’t recomend you to dance in your WV. I’m a professional photographer and I’ve been on over 200 weddings right now and mostly EVERY bride had problems with her dress.
Perhaps you will dance very carfully, but it can be one of your guests, who will stumble over your beautiful and expensive dress and damage it.
I’m myself will have a reception party, which will last only 5 hours. And here I will also have a second dress for our first dance and I think for the other dances too.
But at night, when we will cut our cake and raise up the laterns into the air, I will change into my wedding dress, to have photos with it 🙂

Larik: Thanks – that’s really good to know! Especially as you’re a photographer. I appreciate your comments!

That dress isn’t that big. Mine has the same shape and I’m definitely dancing in it. I guess it depends how much u care if people step on it?

It’s not overly poofy, true. But it’s basically a fine net with material attached on it with a single stitch so it would rip which I am kind of worried about as I plan to wear my dress to a ball after the wedding day! If I wasn’t net material, I’d be far less concerned.
