@NYCowgirl:  I’m not sure what your budget is, but we are taking lessons with Bud Walters. I think he is reasonably priced and he doesn’t require a set amount of dance lessons you have to buy. I definitely recommend him he is a lot of fun to work with!

@MrsDeLovely:  We hired Bud as well – highly recommended.  It’s so much fun to work with him!

Any new recommendations? We were going to take lessons before we got married… but why not now?

Not from Cincinnati, but we took classes at Arthur Murray before our wedding and I see they have a studio in Cincinnati…

On a side note, we took lessons there for about a month and a half before the wedding, usually one private lesson a week or every other week focusing on our wedding dance, then maybe 1 or 2 of their group lessons a week and our first dance ended up being amazing. We’ve decided to continue with our dance lessons and we’re getting pretty good at it. And it’s kind of nice spending time together like that. All of our other activites are things that we do separately. Like DH plays soccer all year, I take horseback riding lessons. I’m terrible at soccer and don’t like playing it. Horseback riding on a regular basis is too expensive for the two of us to do together, plus it’s not something DH is really interested in. but the dance lessons are fun!
