I've never been to a wedding that did this, but I'm pretty sure I read about it in Martha Stewart Weddings. I think it's a pretty fun idea!
thanks amanda! I might poke around at online Martha and see what I find.
Wondering if this is more fun in theory than actuality?
hmmm..never seen this at a "real" wedding either. it sounds like a fun idea if you have the right crowd. If not though, i think it could be very awkward and i can just hear the "grumbles" from aunt so and so who doesn't like to dance.
its a tough call for me on this one... depends on the guest list entirely i think.

How common is this? I was watching 4Weddings recently and the bride named each table after a song---at some point throughout the night, the DJ played each of the songs and everyone from that table was to get up and dance to their song together.
(I feel as though I explained that poorly)! Lol. Is this a competition for the table with the most enthusiasm? Or....? Hmmm, any help? I think it has potencial to be alot of fun, especially after a few drinks... ;)
