Our invites went out this weekend, and a friend just returned it...and we just noticed that the RSVP card says kindly reply by the FORTH of september, instead of FOURTH.

    grrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!

I hope not..makes me sad though...we worked so hard on it, and I was supposed to "proof" it. I though I had :(

I doubot anyone will notice.  On the chance they do, they'll probably think you used some  classy, Old english word.  By the forth...by the begining.  Which you wanted them to do anyways :).

    "I though I had :(".  LOL.  How ironic ;)

EDIT- since we're on the subject of typos, I meant to say "doubt"

We had 3 people proof our wedding invites and we had a word spelled wrong on the accommodations card. Oops. No one will notice!

Uh...I'm laughing with you not at you, date twin.  I was so paranoid about this!!  I can't tell you how many times I went over them.  I also sent them out last weekend.  So far so good....

I say don't worry about it - there's nothing you can do.  My friend misspelled her fiance's name on their invites, and I'm convinced no one else noticed.

@luli29: Meant with love.  I am paranoid about the same thing.  I am going to have a friend, who is a copyeditor, proof mine.  I always miss one thing, and it's usually the one thing that changes the meaning of everything. Tongue out

I know how you feel. I DIY'd my invites and had three spelling mistakes on the accommodation card :-(

I even got my MIL to proof read and everything!

FI thinks is is funny and said he will be sure to mention it in the wedding speach *Phew*

You notice the "I" key and the "O" key are right next to each other on the keyboard?  I once wrote a letter to my grandmother talking about how I joined the "hickey" team and how black and blue I was.  Yeah.  She was mortified for a while.

At least it wasn't a mistake like THAT, LOL!

Honestly, don't worry about it. I received an invite last week and my last name was spelled wrong! I just laughed! But I would never say anything, well maybe after the wedding as a joke and only bc the bride is one of my best friends and we pick on each other. :) It is a simple error and things happen! No worries!

I found one on ours a few weeks after the invites went out.  Chances are no one will catch it.
