I love David’s bridal “peacock” color.
DF and I are in the process of choosing Spring 2014 or Fall 2014.
Anyone have suggestions for colors that would work with a dark teal for a Spring Wedding??
Suggestions if it were in the fall??

I think there are a lot of things which could match that color. I wear it a LOT in my day to day life. For a spring wedding with a romantic feel, I think that soft peach and pink would be gorgeous (can you imagine the bouquets?! I die) For fall, you could go with really strong lush autumnal colors — teal and red and a golden wheat color, or rust or bronze, or eggplant. Think the most beautiful September sky and all the colors in that harvest palette.
If you want a more modern palette, peacock, pink or magenta, purple, black and silver (all of them or leave out a couple) would be great…I’ve also seen teal and lime for a more summery feel.
TL;DR — I think that teal is one of the most versatile and flattering colors. It works well in modern, rustic, and romantic looks. I don’t think you can go wrong!

How about a champagne color? My main color was a dark forest green and I paired it with champagne and silver (hey it was winter) and got many compliments. I also agree that peach could be lovely and very romantic looking.

We are using Peacock for our wedding and I have had the hardest time coming up with an accent color. For us, it is mostly going to be black and white (our wedding is in June).
This is an example of my color inspiration although I don’t know how well I am going to be able to stick to it! I really like the bottom three colors paired together.
Another piece of advice is to choose an accent color that can be easily matched with linens, ribbon, paper, etc. It’s been tough to find good matches for peacock that aren’t too turquoise or just plain navy blue. I bought a color swatch from DB for $1 and take it everywhere with me in an attempt to find something that will work!

@lindsylou: I bought the same swatch! Luckily I’m am choosing some accents like orange and red that should be easier to match. As fear as the peacock color goes it will be kept at a minimum.
