I have genetic darkness around my eyes, particularly along the ridge between my nose and my eyes (does that makes sense?) and lately in pictures that is ALL i see!!! I feel like I’m wearing goggles in pictures.
What makeup tricks do you bees find works best to cover the darkness? Hydration and more sleep don’t help at all, since its a genetic thing. My only hope is to cover them up.

Oh honey this is so me I had to come and help! HAHA
Definitely get a good eye cream for puffiness and circles, I have never found anything that really makes a HUGE diff but right now I’m trying a sample of Caudalie I got from Sephora and I like it.
As far as cover up goes I use one by stila in a tube and that does decent. The other is that on my wedding day a few weeks ago i was really worried about them showing and used make up forever’s concealer and it worked really well. Good luck!

Man, I wish it was appropriate for guys to use makeup to cover up things like that. It sounds like I’m in the exact same boat as OP, and it’s almost daily that I get a “you look really tired” comment, which always makes me self conscious.

I can soooooooo relate 🙁 Are you fair skinned?
I am fair skinned and I talked to my derm about it and she told me that genetic dark circles can only be fully corrected by plastic surgery. Something about fair skin showing the blueish “bruising” look more clearly. My mom has them really bad and I worry that mine will continue to get worse 🙁 Right now I just cover them up the best I can with a good powder and concealer!

@MrsNerdy: Correctors usually come in peach/pink tones or yellow tones. They work SO good. Like seriously amazing. Concealer would then go over top or just your foundation.
Here is a Bobbi Brown colour corrector.
